A premium replacement window company

Windows that outlive the mortgage.

We've spent four generations making one thing: replacement windows that don't need replacing. Hand-finished wood-clad and fiberglass units, fitted by the same crew that measured them, with a craftsman warranty that doesn't expire because we don't either.

Our materials

Three lines, each built to a different lifetime.

Every Heritage Pane window is constructed at our small mill in Toledo and hand-finished before it leaves the shop. We don't subcontract framing. We don't powder-coat over plastic. We work in three materials, and that's it.

I.

Wood-clad cherry & mahogany

Our flagship. Interior solid hardwood, exterior aluminum-clad. Restorative-grade for historic homes; appropriate for new construction at the high end.

  • Glazing: triple, argon-filled
  • Frame: solid hardwood
  • U-factor: 0.21
  • Warranty: 50 years
II.

Fiberglass composite

For homeowners who want craftsman quality with modern thermals. Pultruded fiberglass frames in a hand-finished paint program — color-matched to your trim.

  • Glazing: double or triple
  • Frame: pultruded fiberglass
  • U-factor: 0.23
  • Warranty: 40 years
III.

Steel restoration line

For pre-war and mid-century buildings where the original steel sash defines the architecture. Made to order. Long lead times. The right answer for the right project.

  • Glazing: double, low-e
  • Frame: cold-rolled steel
  • U-factor: 0.34
  • Warranty: 30 years

After 18 years in our 1909 brick foursquare, Heritage was the first window company who didn't immediately try to talk us out of restoring the bays. They proposed, measured, milled, and installed — and the seams disappeared. They look original.

How we work

A four-step process, over roughly eight weeks.

i

Consultation & measure

A senior craftsman visits the property, walks every opening with you, and produces a written proposal within five business days. Free of charge, no obligation.

ii

Specification & deposit

We finalize glazing, hardware, finish, and grille patterns. A 30% deposit holds the production slot and locks the price for the duration of the build.

iii

Mill & finish

Production runs four to six weeks in our Toledo shop. Each unit is hand-finished, inspected, and crated for delivery. No drop-shipped product ever leaves the mill.

iv

Install & walk-through

The same crew that measured installs the windows. Typical residential project is two to four days on site. We walk the home with you before final payment.

The right window outlasts the home it goes in.

We accept a small number of new clients each season. If a Heritage Pane is right for your home, we'd be honored to discuss it.
